Hokkaido, Japan

Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan is a magical place, especially in winter when it becomes a snowy wonderland. As the nation’s agricultural heartland, it’s celebrated for exceptional food and deep seasonal flavors. It’s a place that invites return, again and again.

White-out conditions

On our 3rd day in Niseko, the mountain was encased in dense clouds creating an eerie and almost creepy environment. In the middle of the day, we could barely see around us and trees would emerge entirely out of the fog 10 feet away from us.
